I was just reading all the 'exuberant' posts on facebook, about the death of our enemy, and my heart couldn't rejoice in the same way. It is the mercy of God that rescues us from our assailants, and it is His mercy that I desire to continue, in turn, to reside in my heart, even in the face of inevitable consequences that justice demands.
